Zen Center honors her 100th birthday this year with an event on April 26, celebrating the release of her new book, A White Tea Bowl: 100 Haiku from 100 Years of Life. In addition, a monthlong exhibit of photographs, historical and recent, hangs in the City Center Art Lounge and includes two of these below, among several others.
