Being Inspired by Samantabhadra

This holiday season, we’re taking inspiration from the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, who is often linked to beneficial activity.

Samantabhadra inspires action that benefits all beings; action inspired by compassion. This Bodhisattva encourages us to take practice off the cushion and into the world.

Central Abbess Linda Cutts reflects on why Samantabhadra inspires her.

Visit sfzc.org/yearend to see more from Linda, and to join SFZC as we take the next steps together to bring practice into action.

Remembering Mary Watson

I want to invite us to be with Mary's spirit, because she really embodied compassion. When Blanche gave her the precepts, she gave her the name, Eyes of Compassion, Nurturing Teacher, and that's what Mary was.
