Volunteers Needed to Cook and Serve for the Winter Shelter Program

Zen Center will be taking part in the San Francisco Interfaith Council’s Winter Shelter program again this year. We will be providing meals for homeless men at local churches on the following Sundays:

January 17
February 7
February 21

Volunteers  are needed to help cook and serve these meals. Most of the cooking will be done in the City Center kitchen in the afternoon, beginning about 1 pm.

We will load up and go to the church at about 5 and likely return by 8.

It is possible to sign up for just the cooking or just the serving if that is what works best for you.

To volunteer please contact the outreach coordinator, Jeffrey Schneider: or 415 354 0379.
