IMG_69_outdoorkinhin_genine_x450Such a greeting is always typical at Zen Center, but especially at this time of the year, during sesshin at all three temples. A sesshin is a silent meditation retreat, usually over a period of several days at the end of a practice period. This week both City Center and Tassajara are immersed in sesshin, and Green Gulch enters sesshin next week.
