Many of us are experiencing an array of reactions and emotions as a result of the outcomes and implications of the recent elections. For some there’s disappointment, grief, dismay, and anger; for others hope and determination. In times like these, when we are personally and collectively reflecting on how to navigate the circumstances before us with some measure of clarity and skillfulness, it can be helpful to first simply come together with Dharma companions to sit quietly, listen attentively, and share what’s on our hearts and minds.
Join Abbot David and SFZC teacher Tova in compassionately holding and supporting each other through these two listening circles, one held in person, and another online. We’ll begin with a brief period of meditation, followed by time for personal sharing, and ending with a dedication of merit.
The Listening Circles will not be recorded to provide a safe and intimate space for sharing.
