I have a life-long love story with the natural world. I pursue my passion for our environment through my art. My goal is to create paintings that celebrate the beauty in our natural environment, and to attempt to evoke introspection in the viewer. My photos and memories from a recent visit to Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny, France, inspired the paintings in the “Pond Reflections” series.
Jenny was born and raised in Sweden. She has a background in environmental science. Since 2007 Jenny has been a full time artist, working outdoors and from her studio at Hunters Point Shipyards in San Francisco. She draws inspiration from the nature in Northern California and Sweden, where she lives part of the year, and makes frequent painting trips to other places.
