Bookstore Seeking Volunteers

The Zen Center Bookstore at City Center is looking for volunteers for the following shifts:
Mondays, 1:30 – 5:30 pm
Wednesdays, 1:30 – 5:30 pm

Responsibilities include keeping the bookstore open, greeting people, and helping them to make their purchases. It is not necessary for volunteers to be familiar with the wide range of Buddhist literature available. What is important is that they offer a welcoming presence to regular visitors as well as to those who may be visiting San Francisco Zen Center for the first time.

Volunteers will be given training by the bookstore manager, Roger Hillyard. Because of the investment of time in your training, we ask that you make a minimum commitment of six months.

If you are interested in volunteering, or have any questions about the position, please contact Roger Hillyard at bookstore@sfzc.org or 415-354-0397.

Thank you.
