On Saturday, May 30, Zen Center is participating once again in the annual Bike to Worship event organized by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. Everyone is encouraged to come to our public program at City Center by bike, scooter, roller-blade or other human-powered device. Riders will be have the opportunity to enter a special raffle organized by the SFBC, and there will be extra refreshments on hand. The dharma talk that morning will be given by Shundo David Haye, on the connections he finds between Zen and biking. Zen Center is also one of the stops on an interfaith ride around the city on the afternoon of Sunday, May 31, which is being coordinated by Zen Center resident Myles Cowherd. Everyone is welcome to join for some or all of the ride.
