The retreat will end on Monday evening with zazen and a Dharma Talk. These activities will be open to the general public and they will be held at the usual time that the Monday Zen Group at Awakened Mountain meets, from 6:45 to 9:30pm.

The theme of the retreat will center on the study of one of the most important aspects of the Buddha’s teaching: transitoriness, impermanence, change and the ephemeral quality of life itself and of everything that occurs within it. Likewise, the path of contemplation and deep understanding that Buddhism and Zen can offer us to deal with the irrevocable truth of this reality.
