Green Gulch Farm organic produce is available seasonally, from May through October. As this week’s featured photo shows, greens come fresh off the farm, and not without a little fresh hard work. (See also note below.*)
Green Gulch Farm will return to the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 30, 2015. We will be in our usual place with our wonderful produce. We hope to see you there on Saturdays throughout the season until mid-October. Check out the CUESA website for more information about the market. Location: On the street side, to the right of the clock tower when you are facing it, closest to the arcade.
Green Gulch Farm produce is also available at the Farmers’ Market at Blithedale Shopping Center in Mill Valley on Fridays, 9 am to 2 pm, beginning May 22, 2015, through October.
In addition, our produce is available after dharma talks at Green Dragon Temple in the tea and muffin area by the zendo from 11 am to 12:15 pm on Sundays through the autumn months. Please join us for any part of the sangha day: zazen instruction, open sitting, and a dharma talk followed by a chance to socialize, then a question and answer period, and public lunch. Bakery and garden goodies are also available for sale.

*Special note from Qayyum Johnson: Pictured is Justin Beebe, who completed the farm apprenticeship last year, playing a starring role (as shown) as a “lechugero,” or “lettuce slinger,” with Emila Heller. He went to practice at Insight Meditation in Massachusetts over the winter and was hit by a car in Albany, NY. He’s been in our well-being ceremony at Green Gulch for many months as he recovered in New York State and will shortly be returning to California to continue his recovery. Everyone at GGF misses his relaxed smile and sends him our loving best wishes.
