As Bike to Worship and Interfaith Ride Roll By — Snapshots from the Weekend

On the weekend of May 30-31, the Zen Center sangha enjoyed a different perspective on the wheel of Dharma. City Center gave a special welcome to bike riders and other human-powered commuters to the Saturday Program, ahead of Sunday’s interfaith ride, which was organized by Zen Center resident Myles Cowherd. Zen Center’s participation in San Francisco’s Bike to Worship Week was initiated by outgoing City Center Director Shundo David Haye, who gave the dharma talk on Saturday. The route of the interfaith ride connected 12 congregations from multiple spiritual traditions, making for a wonderful opportunity to connect with our local, or you might say wider, community. Here are a few snapshots from those events.
