Congratulations, Shuso Gib Robinson

On June 15, the Spring Practice Period ended at City Center with a ceremony spotlighting the shuso (head student) for the period, Gib Robinson. The practice period was led by Central Abbot Myogen Steve Stücky on the theme “How to Be Dharma Companions for and with Each Other.”

With supporting teachers from two other sitting groups where Gib is a member: Ed Sattizahn (left), from Vimala Sangha in Mill Valley, and Steve Weintraub (right), from Presidio Hill Zen Group in San Francisco. Gib had already served as shuso earlier this year for Vimala Sangha.
